Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 August 2026

Legal Web Agency (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at legalwebagency.com. We build websites and provide digital marketing services for law firms in the United States. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site, why we collect it, and what choices you have. If you have a question about anything below, email hello@legalwebagency.com.

Information you give us

We only ask for personal information when we need it in order to respond to you. That happens in two places:

  • Our contact form. We collect your name, email address, phone number, subject and message so that we can reply to your enquiry.
  • Our consultation booking. Bookings are handled by HubSpot. When you book a call you provide your name, email address and any details you choose to include. That information is stored in HubSpot’s systems as well as ours.

We use this information to answer you, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell it, rent it or trade it to anyone.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our server records standard technical information each time a page is requested: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page you requested, the page that referred you, and the date and time. We use this for security, troubleshooting and aggregate traffic statistics.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. This site uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Essential cookies that make the site work — for example remembering your cookie choices or keeping a form session alive.
  • Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, which we access through Google Site Kit. These tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they are in the world. We use this to decide what to write about next.
  • Advertising cookies set by third-party vendors, described in the next section.
  • HubSpot cookies used by the consultation booking tool to recognise returning visitors and attribute enquiries correctly.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the site may not behave as expected.

Third-party advertising

We may display advertising supplied by Google and other third-party vendors on this site.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
  • More detail on how Google uses information from sites that use its services is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

How long we keep your information

Enquiries and correspondence are kept for as long as we have an active or prospective working relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Sharing your information

We share personal information only with the service providers we need in order to run this business — our web host, our email provider, HubSpot and Google Analytics. Each of these processes data on our behalf. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how we use it. Residents of California have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information. Visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have equivalent rights under the GDPR.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@legalwebagency.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is aimed at law firms and legal professionals. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our articles link to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those sites, and we encourage you to read their own privacy policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
